Big Bang Baby

I've already worn both of these things recently (here & here). This skirt is my new lover, I swear it. So I wanted to wear these cute little shoes I've never worn, but didn't think black tights would be good enough, so I raided my drawer full of tights and found these pretty white lace tights that I didn't know I had and they turned out to be just what I needed. My bag makes me giddy, too. I love structured bags.

It's a little hard to see, but the pattern on these tights is quite pretty.

Live Without Warning

Yesterday after my post, I went for lunch with my boyfriend, did a little thrifting, and spent the evening with my friends Nicole, Meagan and Justine. We made rainbow cake according to this blog's instructions and went to Friendly's and so on. Today I worked (for once...) and now I'm off to the movies to see Milk with the boyfriend.

It's a shame you can barely make out the detail and bow on my blouse.

I kind of look like an ass. Don't ask what my hair is up to, I don't know either.

Pinkish.

Misuse is Practice

I had the hardest time figuring out what to wear with this tan dress for some reason. Tan and I don't get along, I guess.

I was cranky so I don't look very thrilled in these.

Windows Shopping

I went window shopping on Etsy today because after I got home at around noon from a stay at my boyfriend's house, I haven't left my house. My car is trapped in my driveway and while I was tempted to go thrifting, I haven't been feeling that irresistable urge to spend all of my money the second I get it lately. It's actually quite relieving. I haven't shopped much for myself since Christmas, and I'm still sitting on a fistful of gift cards... Here's some stuff I would love to own, but for one reason or another, I'm not buying!! I never became a recessionista, per se, I've just always been broke!

I actually really want a pair of these shoes, but these aren't my size. I guess my problem is not knowing what key words to search for with these. Anyone know anything specific that'd help me out?


Cute dress. Oh, and it would fit me? Oh, balls. I just know I'd never wear it because it's a tube dress.


I've been thrifting sequined things like crazy lately. Otherwise, this dress might tempt me to buy it.


If this would fit me, it would already be mine.

In my defense, I was searching for ruffly pink dresses to girl-ify my new motorcycle jacket (that I... ahem... forgot about). But now I sort of want to wear this just like the girl modeling it is wearing it. $25.

Childhood Hero

Here's another sweater from my ridiculous sweater collecton - It's Garfield!! Growing up, I thought Garfield was the best thing. I read the comics, I had books, I had anthologies, I had shirts, I watched the TV show... Everything. So when I saw this sweater at H&M around Christmastime, I was super bummed I couldn't buy it for myself (I was behaving myself.)

So my boyfriend surprised me with it for my birthday. Love it!

Bite Me Hard

I spent most of yesterday doing laundry and working in the evening (and watching Armageddon week, of course!). I know I've only recently started actually telling you what I do every day in my blog, but it's probably already clear that my life mostly revolves around coffee and shopping and working a couple days a week. Mmm, life is good.

Tonight I'm going to see two of my friends' bands play - My friend Mat's band Hollywood Lies, and my friend Ryan's band Lannen Fall. I have to pick my friend K-recks up in Boston very shortly and get going!

And before I go any further, I wanted to share something I found that I hope makes you laugh as much as it made me laugh: Mail Experiment.

Anywho! Sometimes I wear the same thing a couple days within a week. This is one of those outfits. I've realized this jumper is a little big, so I tied it up so I didn't look like a tent. And my Betsey Johnson bag hasn't left my side since I bought it.

Smaller boobs, please? This is ridiculous.
