Wallpaper Dress

Normally I avoid dresses that go below my knees because they make my legs look short, but something about this dress... I like it a lot. Probably because it looks like wallpaper.

Yesterday I went for breakfast with my boyfriend, worked, and had my friends Nicole and Barbara over. We decided we want to move to Hawaii. I am seriously considering it. Pros/cons, anyone? Today I worked and shopped and now I'm about to go bake some red velvet cupcakes. Enjoy!

I wouldn't have DARED to wear this dress last week, I was so bloated. TMI, I know, sorry.

Notice how my hair keeps changing...

I bought this bag today for 70% off. Studly.

This got a little goth-y.

I've photographed this Marc Jacobs monocle necklace before, but it's worth photographing again.

And what's an outfit post without shoes!?

Dress: Vintage
Tights: Forever 21
Bag: Roxy
Necklace: Marc Jacobs
Earrings: I forget.
Shoes: Apostrophe

Right, oh, and I was tagged. Thanks to Sam!! Her blog is seriously one of my favorites.
1. Go to the fourth folder in your computer where you store your pictures
2. Pick the fourth picture in that folder
3. Explain the picture
4. Tag four people to do the same

This is a picture of my first car, taken very shortly before I got rid of it. It was a 1992 Chrysler New Yorker, and as you can see, it was in rough shape. The headlight cover is missing from an accident I had when some old lady cut me off. Regardless, I still miss that car!

I would like to tag (sorry if you've already done this!):
Nadine from Strawberry Kitten
Merily from Sequin Magazine
Hannah from Cheetos Are Orange
Jaleh from fashionadaption

kait.lyn - Thanks! I think it's really a nice surprise, too. The bottom is actually a little cooler than I even captured in this picture. It fans out quite nicely.

Valentine - Thank you!! Thanks for stopping by my blog :)

That is a gorgeous dress! It looks great on you! And I totally understand about the length of certain dresses & skirts making your legs look shorter. It happens to me all the time and I usually just shrug it off because I'm short to begin with ;)

Thanks! I don't think this one makes me look short, thankfully. Anything long and flowy though? Forget it! I hover around average height at 5'6" and I don't like to accentuate my short legs. Haha :)

Omg I would love to be 5"6 so stop complaining lol! I agree that the length can be kinda iffy at times, like this dress would look so great if it hit just above the knee rather than just below, but it's still a great dress!

Haha, I'm ok with the length of this dress... I made an exception to my "no long dress" rule for it!

I'm not terribly upset with my height, I just have short legs in proportion to the rest of my body. True story.
